10/25/26 (& 11/15/26): Spiritual Practice: Reflections on Prayer with Pete Anderson & Rollin Russell. An overview and a deep dive. Please note that this 2 part session was originally scheduled for the 25th and Nov. 1st, but has now changed to the 25th and Nov. 15th due to the Congregational Conversation taking place after worship on the 1st.
Summary: These sessions will allow participants to examine (or re-examine) the historical role of prayer, to raise questions about prayer (that we never felt comfortable asking), and to explore different prayer practices.
NOVEMBER
11/8/26: UCC Primer #2: Theology, Beliefs & Practices “Let Us Break Bread Together”: a conversation on communion led by Pastor Bruce.
11/15/26: Spiritual Practice: Reflections on Prayer: Lectio Divina & Meditative Prayer (week 2) with Pete Anderson & Rollin Russell.

ministry from both sides with Pete Anderson & Ed Clark ZOOM ONLY
Summary: One clear and unambiguous command of Christ is to visit and care for those who are imprisoned (Matthew 25:31-40). During this session, we will discuss prison ministry from a variety of perspectives, including the historic, academic, personal – as well as how you can get involved in volunteer opportunities.
