Stir the Soul Cafe
Who we are:
We are of people with different backgrounds and interests who are looking for ways to remain creative, or embrace more creative forms of expression; who wish to continue learning through study, and discussion.
What we do:
We have discussion times for Bible study, Celtic study, Spirituality study, Book study. We have self-meditations for Advent, for Lent and ‘Just Because’. We host women’s retreats seasonally, including Women’s Christmas in January. We also go on pilgrimages. Stir the Soul Cafe Ministry is a concept that is evolving, unfolding, and recreating.

Groups within this ministry:
Movie Date to Stir the Soul: We gather at a local movie house to view a first run movie, or if there are none that challenge us, we will meet at the church and enjoy the comfort of the Library to watch a film. Check our weekly newsletter for upcoming films/dates.
Sip at the Drip: While sipping our favorite drink at the Dripolater in Candler, (2nd Saturdays – 2pm) we will contemplate what we must learn, can offer and can embrace as we seek ways to be creative and to live in creative ways.
Winter Women: we meet the second Wednesday of each month to discuss, discern and concern ourselves with issues of sisterhood and are brought together through the study of Celtic Spirituality. This group is open to all ‘mature’ women and ones who recognize the potential of the wisdom-bringers among us.
